Around 2:00AM this morning New Hamburg responded under mutual aid to the Village of Wappingers for a house fire on Downey Ave. Engine 53-11 and crew laid an additional supply line and operated for four hours before going in service.

NEW HAMBURG - Warren "Lawson" Edgar, 81, a resident of New Hamburg passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2011.

Son of the late Warren C. and Hazel Edgar, he was born October 27, 1930. A lifelong resident of New Hamburg, he has been married for fifty-seven years to Barbara (McCourt) Edgar.
