Automobile Fire Monroe Drive (December 12, 2007)

The New Hamburg Fire Department and Mobile Life were dispatched to an automobile fire in front of 48 Monroe Drive on December 12, 2007. Upon arrival 53-1 (Chief Moore) found an fully involved engine compartment fire below Central Hudson power lines. 53-11, 53-13 and 53-52 responded and quickly extinguished the fire. Central Hudson were called to the scene to inspect the power lines.

Electrical wires down on an occupied school bus (November 16, 2007)

At approximately 1300 hrs on November 16, 2007, New Hamburg Fire Department and Mobile Life Ambulance were dispatched for live electrical wires down on an occupied school bus and a truck on fire on Sheafe Rd. in the area of the Sheafe Rd. Elementary School.
Structure Fire (October 31, 2007)

On 10/31/07 the NHFD was dispatched to 8 Edgehill Road for a reported structure fire. Chief Moore arrived on the scene shortly after the dispatch and reported a working fire and gave an update with heavy fire in the basement with possible extension to the first floor.53-11

Live Burn Drill

New Hamburg Fire District conducts a live burn drill on Sunday October 14, 2007 at the Dutchess County Training center. Lt. Denbaum conducted the drill which consisted of hose line advancement, laddering a building, and search and rescue.
Employee's Trapped (October 11,2007)

October 11, 2007 New Hamburg Fire District was dispatched to the Poughkeepsie Galleria for 2 employees trapped in Gordon Jewlers. Upon arrival Car 1 ( Chief J. Moore) found 2 employees trapped and determined that the quickest and safest way to free the employees were to use the rescue air bags on 53-52 (Rescue).
Automobile Fire (September 8, 2007)

September 8, 2007 New Hamburg Fire District and Mobile Life responded to a reported automobile fire at the Poughkeepsie Chevrolet Dealer on Route 9. New Hamburg Fire Chief (53-1) responded with two engines (53-11 and 53-13) to find a fully involved engine compartment fire. Fire was quickly extinguished and the vehicle removed.
