Res-Q-Jack Drill May 7, 2008

On May 7, 2008 New Hamburg Fire District has a drill on the recently purchased Res-Q-Jack stabilization equipment. Firefighters received hands-on training from the manufactures representative. The drill covered the proper set-up and proper techniques for vehicle stabilization, building collapse, and trench rescue operations
Ice Water Rescue Drill February 17, 2008

Ice Water Rescue Drill February 17, 2008. The New Hamburg Fire District conducted an ice water rescue drill at Whites Marina. Stressed items were safety of the members entering the water and ice and how to successfully retrieve a possible victim. Communication between land and water is critical to everyone safety. The average air temp was 26 degrees.
Live Burn Drill

New Hamburg Fire District conducts a live burn drill on Sunday October 14, 2007 at the Dutchess County Training center. Lt. Denbaum conducted the drill which consisted of hose line advancement, laddering a building, and search and rescue.
FAST Team Training (June 12, 2005)

New Hamburg went to the Dutchess County Training Center to train on firefighting skills and search and rescue (F.A.S.T).
