Person stuck on boat White's Marina (May 22, 2008)

The New Hamburg Fire Department was dispatched to the Village of Wappingers Falls to assist the Wappingers Falls Fire Department (WFFD) at a structure fire on South Ave. at the Baptist church on May 11 2008. New Hamburg 53-11 and 53-13(engines) arrived on the scene with 13 firefighters and assisted the WFFD and other mutual aid companies in extinguishing the fire.

The New Hamburg Fire Department was dispatched to the Village of Wappingers Falls to assist the Wappingers Falls Fire Department (WFFD) at a structure fire on Messier Ave. on April 16, 2008. New Hamburg 53-11(engine) arrived on the scene with 8 firefighters and assisted the WFFD in extinguishing the fire. The reason for the fire is still under investigation. No injuries were reported

At approximately 10:00 on the morning of January 9, 2008 a driver headed south on Sheafe Rd lost control and flipped her 2001 Pontiac Grand Pre. The New Hamburg Fire District responded with our heavy rescue (53-52) and one engine (53-11) along with Mobile Life Ambulance and the Town Pd. Once on the scene Lt. Denbaum reported a one car rollover with no entrapment.

The New Hamburg Fire Department and Mobile Life were dispatched to an automobile fire in front of 48 Monroe Drive on December 12, 2007. Upon arrival 53-1 (Chief Moore) found an fully involved engine compartment fire below Central Hudson power lines. 53-11, 53-13 and 53-52 responded and quickly extinguished the fire. Central Hudson were called to the scene to inspect the power lines.

At approximately 1300 hrs on November 16, 2007, New Hamburg Fire Department and Mobile Life Ambulance were dispatched for live electrical wires down on an occupied school bus and a truck on fire on Sheafe Rd. in the area of the Sheafe Rd. Elementary School.

On 10/31/07 the NHFD was dispatched to 8 Edgehill Road for a reported structure fire. Chief Moore arrived on the scene shortly after the dispatch and reported a working fire and gave an update with heavy fire in the basement with possible extension to the first floor.53-11
