The New Hamburg Fire Department and Mobile Life were dispatched to an automobile fire in front of 48 Monroe Drive on December 12, 2007. Upon arrival 53-1 (Chief Moore) found an fully involved engine compartment fire below Central Hudson power lines. 53-11, 53-13 and 53-52 responded and quickly extinguished the fire. Central Hudson were called to the scene to inspect the power lines. There were no injuries and no damage to the power lines.
