The New Hamburg fire District is made up of dedicated men and women who have been faithfully volunteering their time to serve the community for more than a century. Training consists of a broad range of skills including all aspects of Firefighting, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Fire Police, Boat Operations and Rescue. Our goal is to recruit committed members with a strong desire to learn and work diligently as part of a team. That's it! No prior experience or training is necessary. Junior members start at 16 years of age. Anyone can do it! We offer training to suit any level of physical capabilities or scheduling restrictions. Learn at your own pace and choose a specialty that suits you best; or learn them all! It is up to you. Find out how it feels to be a part of something great.
